PROFESSIONAL STUMP GRINDING
Clear the obstruction without turning your yard into an excavation site.
Below-grade stump grinding for lawns, fence lines, landscaping upgrades, pool projects, patios and residential properties with limited access.
THE TREE MAY BE GONE. THE PROBLEM ISN'T.
A leftover stump can interfere with mowing, attract insects, hold moisture, create a trip hazard and block the exact space needed for a new fence, patio, pool, shed or landscape design.
Professional stump grinding reduces the stump below the surrounding grade without the large excavation footprint associated with digging out the entire root system.
- Improve mowing access and yard appearance
- Clear space for sod, mulch or planting beds
- Prepare fence lines and construction areas
- Remove hazards near walkways and play areas

GRINDING DEPTH SHOULD MATCH WHAT COMES NEXT.
A stump being covered with mulch may not require the same depth as a stump located under future sod, along a new fence line or inside a construction footprint.
Before work begins, we review how the area will be used, the surrounding root flare, access conditions and nearby obstacles so the scope matches the project.
A SIMPLE PHOTO-QUOTE PROCESS.
Start with photos instead of waiting for an in-person estimate.

Include the stump, a tape-measure reference and the access route.
Review & Pricing
We review diameter, root flare, quantity, access and desired depth.
Schedule Service
Once approved, the project is scheduled and the right equipment is prepared.
Grind & Finish
The stump is ground to the agreed depth and chips are handled as planned.
STUMP GRINDING FOR REAL PROPERTY IMPROVEMENTS.
WHAT AFFECTS STUMP GRINDING COST?
Pricing is influenced by stump diameter, root flare, species, total quantity, equipment access, grinding depth, nearby rocks or concrete and chip cleanup requirements.
Clear photos of the stump and access route usually provide enough information to establish the likely scope quickly.

STUMP GRINDING QUESTIONS
How deep will the stump be ground?
Depth depends on the future use of the area, surrounding roots and site conditions. Sod, landscaping and construction projects may require different scopes.
Will grinding remove every underground root?
No. Stump grinding targets the stump and accessible root flare. It does not excavate every underground root across the property.
Can you grind a stump near a fence or pool?
Often yes, but access and nearby obstacles must be reviewed before scheduling. Photos of gates, turns, irrigation and structures are important.
What happens to the wood chips?
Chip handling depends on the project. Chips may be left in the grinding area, spread for mulch or handled as an added cleanup option.
